Horror aficionados gathered at Luna Palace Cinemas, Leederville Western Australia, in anticipation as Soxie The Salacious Spectre, Perth's own horror host, took centre stage to host a spine-chilling shorts program curated by the incredible team behind the 2024 Revelation Film Festival, on now until 14 July 2024.
The event, held on Saturday, 6 July, showcased a diverse selection of short horror films from local talent & around the globe, curated to captivate and terrify audiences.
"I am honoured to have been part of Beyond The Infernal Darkness (Rev's horror shorts program)," Soxie The Salacious Spectre commented. "Short films are vital for exploring new ideas & pushing creative boundaries, providing a platform for emerging talent & often serve as a testing ground for innovative storytelling techniques." Each film was carefully chosen to evoke fear, thoughts & in some cases, dark humour, reflecting the festival's commitment to showcasing the best in contemporary independent cinema.
