Irish filmmakers Luke De Brún (R) and Raphael Aherne (L) have been working in narrative film and documentary since 2018. With a keen interest in genre cinema, they have collaborated on two previous short films, Friends to the End (2024) and Pay Day (2025). They aim to fuse their interests and backgrounds (De Brún in horror and Aherne in thriller) to create visceral, unforgettable and skin crawling cinematic experiences. Nesting is their third short together and first as dual directors.
