I was born in Varese on October 18, 1992, in the midst of autumn - Halloween season - and I have always found a particular beauty in shadows and mysteries. From a young age, images have been the form of expression I felt most attuned to: I loved posing dolls and puppets, photographing them, and creating stories by lining up those frames. In 2014, I graduated in DAMS Cinema in Bologna, where I discovered my passion for directing. Two years later, I moved to England to pursue a Master's in Film Directing at the Northern Film School in Leeds. In 2018, I directed my graduation short film, "Silence in this Solitude" (link), a horror that garnered several accolades in the festival circuit. I am deeply fond of the horror and fantasy genres, with a particular preference for dark fantasy. Among my major artistic influences are masters like Guillermo del Toro and Tim Burton. Horror and fantasy are the genres that best embody what, to me, is the essence of cinema: the ability to create anything we can imagine.
