Aren Herbert Hoogerdijk is a director and screenwriter from right here in Perth. Aren’s passion for cinema is evident to all those who interact with him. With the increased opportunities for filmmakers in WA, Aren feels extremely excited to step out of his role as student, and into a career in the WA film industry. He believes that festivals such as this, are excellent ways for local talent to connect.
