Amanda is an actor based in Perth, Western Australia. Amanda has always had a passion for performing arts and loves taking on different roles showing her diversity and strengths as an actor. Amanda not only has a love for acting but also enjoys being involved in every aspect of film. Learning everything she can to further her experience and skill within the industry.
Amanda has experience in both lead and supporting roles in Feature films, Short films, and TV Commercials as well as behind-the-scenes work on set in various roles including Directing and Producing roles. Amanda’s dedication and passion for her work truly show through her exceptional ability to connect with actors and create a collaborative, professional, safe, and encouraging environment on set. This has led to remarkable performances from her cast members and crew to deliver their best work.
Amanda's passion for storytelling began at an early age, taking part in school productions and watching films and shows on TV one day hoping to inspire others the way she felt inspired watching.
Her fascination with the art of filmmaking led her to jump at all opportunities within film not only as an actor but learning the elements behind the scenes as a creator.
Amanda embarked on her journey as a filmmaker, starting as a production assistant, co-director, BTS photographer, BTS film, and location scout on various film sets. Her dedication and keen eye for detail quickly caught the attention of multiple Perth industry artists and she soon found herself Directing and Co-directing on several independent films.
