Neil Willoughby is a Michigan-based filmmaker known for their short films "Party's Over" (2022), “Straw Men” (2021), & “I Moved to Salem” (2022) Heavily influenced by the kinder-horror they grew up on (Goosebumps, Eerie Indiana, Are You Afraid of the Dark?) Willoughby takes a very tongue-in-cheek approach to the genre. A true DIY filmmaker, Willoughby is known for creating projects on a shoe-string budget and an abundance of passion. Under their Hiraeth Films banner, Willoughby and their team have had films screened in festivals across North America, Europe. & now Australia!
